ABOUT GCA
Garden City Arts was founded in 1989 under the name of Southwest Arts & Humanities Council with the intent to bring more arts and humanities events to Southwest Kansas. The organization was housed in borrowed spaces for many years until moving to our current downtown location in 2001. During our history Garden City Arts has provided the community with numerous musical & theatrical performances, art activities for all ages and several public works of art throughout Garden City.
Currently GCA curates monthly art exhibits at 5 different and showcases the talents of local artists in the gift section of our gallery. We also provide annual cultural programs and art classes for both children and adults for residents of Southwest Kansas.
