MONET'S LILY PAD

Artist Claude Monet is known for the beautiful water lilies that he incorporated in his paintings. Learn about his work and then create your own 3D lily pad using mixed media techniques.  Play clothes are a must!

UNDER THE SEA

Join us for a fun workshop full of dance and crafts as we dive into the ocean! Learn how to move and play like sea creatures and design an environment fit for a fish.  At 10:50 the class will give a quick performance in the classroom to show off what they learned.

We are meshing performance and visual arts together to create  a fun puppet workshop. Participants will learn about body isolations and the mechanics of how we move so that they can create their own workable puppets.  At 10:50 the class will give a quick performance in the classroom to show off what they learned.

shibori dyeing

Shibori dyeing is a resist method used by the Japanese to dye fabric.  During this fun afternoon workshop we will experiment with different techniques and dye small squares that can be taken home and turned into wall art or material for sewing projects.
