Artist’s Statement

Woven mats have been dated back to the Neolithic Era. The true origin is certainly much older and may well be one of the first technologies developed by humanity. My exhibition of cord woven into mats is simply my take on this ancient tradition.

On a good day, Art and Craft can bridge the past with the present and remind us of who we are….
