Opening Reception

Join us at Garden City Arts for the opening reception of “Inventory,” a new exhibition by Kansas artist Matthew Miller. Enjoy an afternoon of great art and conversation as we celebrate the debut of this thoughtful body of work.

In his own words, Miller shares:
“I paint to better understand and maintain a direct connection with my community. It keeps me actively searching for new experiences every day. The whole process allows me to observe, interact with, and respond to change creatively. Thank you for your interest in my work.”

Matthew Miller was born in Topeka, Kansas and is a graduate of Fort Hays State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Art with an emphasis in painting in 2013. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of Kansas.
