Learn the basics of silk painting while creating your own unique work of art on a 9.5" x 9.5" silk hoop. During this afternoon workshop, Katy Guthrie will show you a simple form of silk painting called 'serti'. Through this technique you will use water-based resist to create lines to break your design into sections. No previous experience is required. All materials provided.
