Programs On Demand
Garden City Arts’ Programs On Demand initiative allows organizations, schools, and businesses to request customized art programs for their patrons, clients, or staff. Whether it’s a professional development activity, creative wellness workshop, or team-building experience, our staff can provide an art experience that aligns with your organization’s needs.

💗 Cancellations within 72 hours: Fees go to the Pass It On Fund

Programs On Demand are offered only at Garden City Arts.
We no longer provide off-site programming, except in very special circumstances approved in advance by the Executive Director. -
Garden City Arts provides free Programs On Demand only for recognized Community Partners.
Community Partners are defined as:Organizations that have an active, ongoing partnership agreement with GCA, OR
Organizations that have provided an art booth during Art in the Park or the Sidewalk Chalk Contest within the past 12 months.
All other organizations are welcome to request a program; however, standard program fees will apply to cover instructor time, materials, and facility costs.

Each session requires a minimum of 6 participants and can accommodate a maximum of 16 participants per instructor-led session.
Groups smaller than six may still attend but will be charged the minimum program fee equivalent to six participants. -
Program fees are set by Garden City Arts and listed on our website.
Fees vary based on the type and duration of the activity and include all necessary materials.
Payment is due one week prior to the scheduled session. -
If a confirmed program must be canceled, please provide at least 72 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled program will result in forfeiture of all program fees.
These forfeited fees will be redirected to the Pass It On Fund, which helps cover the cost of classes for community members in need. -
All GCA programs must maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Participants who engage in disruptive or unsafe behavior may be asked to leave the session at the instructor’s discretion. -

MONOTYPE PRINTMAKING

$100 for up to 16 people.

We’ll provide guided instruction from an experienced art instructor. All supplies are provided.
People will all learn the basics of monotype printmaking on a gel plate.
Each participant will create multiple prints that they can take home at the end of the session.
MONOTYPE PRINTMAKING CARDS

1.5 hours

$150 for up to 16 people.

We’ll provide guided instruction from an experienced art instructor. All supplies are provided.
People will all learn the basics of monotype printmaking on a gel plate.
Each participant will create multiple prints that they will then turn into 2 cards that can be mailed.
WATERCOLOR POSTCARDS

$100 for up to 16 people.

We’ll provide guided instruction from an experienced art instructor. All supplies are provided.
People will the basics of watercolor.
Each participant will then create one post card that can be mailed using watercolor.
ACRYLIC PAINTING

2 hours

$300 for up to 12 people.
$20 per additional person.

We’ll provide guided instruction from an experienced art instructor. The group will all paint the same image. All supplies are provided.
People will paint on an 11x14 canvas using acrylic paint.
Participants will learn the basics of acrylic painting.
ALCOHOL INK MAGNETS

People will all learn the basics of alcohol ink.
Each participant will create one magnet with alcohol ink after playing with different techniques on yupo paper.
