About the Artist:

Bio:

Kendall Stevenson is an artist who craves to put ink to paper, Whether it be darker imagery or bright colors that pop off the page. He has drawn as far back as he can remember and doesn't show signs of stopping. His work at Holcomb High School won him an American Vision Award at the Scholastic Art Show in Southwest Kansas and a Gold Key in Nationals. He's contributed to a number of designs for bands, businesses, and households across Southwest Kansas. Designing for Hidden Trail Brewing's Wicked West Cider was a key moment in his life that pushed him to further his career in art and drawing for anyone who loves a personal touch for their product or wall in their home.

Statement:

My art comes from my love of zombies, monsters, and the unknown. I have a great admiration of blood and gore in art and felt inspired to lean into the darker side while keeping to who I am as a goofy fun-loving guy. Ever since I can remember, I've had a pencil, paint brush, or marker to paper and just loved expressing my mind through art. Zombies are such a great way to show a combination of something scary, while holding the potential to be almost silly at times. In keeping with this theme of zombies, I hope to inspire those who love horror but also enjoy a smile or two.
