Just Playing

‘Playing’ with Art has been an activity I’ve enjoyed off and on through the years. Upon retirement I have found more opportunities to “play”.

Using Oil Pastels has become my passion, as I enjoy creating nature-inspired pieces. I love the look of an Impressionist style of artwork, Which I try to create in my pieces. Watercolor and acrylic paintings emerge occasionally, as the subject calls. 2D Needle Felting has also been a new experimental endeavor (there is something satisfying about poking a barbed needle into a piece of dyed wool.)

I am still emerging into my own style, as I experiment with different mediums and subjects.
